My hard disk loses space each time I cancel an installation?
Im not sure if this is a hard disk but what I do is I click My Computer then point my cursor at C:// and it shows how muchGB of free space I have left. OK, I downloaded a setup to install a game today. then, i started installation but i didnt have enough room so i canceled installation but it says i lost around 1.4 gb of space.
p.s. ive run CCleaner and used AusLog Defrag. they free up like .1 gb or less and then it gets used up by SOMETHING again (i dont know what).
also, i recently deleted a few big programs and the hard disk showed changed but not much.
maybe its because there are hidden files on my hard disk that can’t be erased. like i installed a few big programs and then uninstalled them later (using add/delete programs), maybe those programs r still there on hard disk but i can’t see them?
also, i downloaded a program once called maplestory, i uninstalled it, then i downloaded another program of equal or greater size and a few more. then i uninstalled THOSE, and tried rei
reinstalling maplestory. and it said I was out of room! (yes, maplestory was the program i was talking about earlier)
ok, do u think programs i deleted still have this space on the hard drive?
